Thai Tuesday is officially closed!

Ao and her “business team” have reviewed the numbers and concluded that this venture, while successful in many ways, is not sustainable for Ao’s financial future. We are not in any way disappointed, as this was a huge undertaking and there was so much joy in it.

It’s been an amazing year of planning, chopping, shopping, cooking, learning, laughing and serving Ao’s special Thai food for you wonderful people!

What YOU did for Ao by supporting Thai Tuesday
Just by purchasing ONE MEAL, you were doing so much more. Through Thai Tuesday, Ao learned how to be more independent. She learned to plan. She learned to economize. She learned to tally up expenses, keep track of receipts and shop on her own. She learned to talk more, rely on herself more, drive more, schedule her life more. She was able to support her children financially ON HER OWN, a goal we have prayed for her since we first met that tragic day in June, two years ago. Every bit of this experience has been beneficial and she is so grateful to you for being a part of it.

Ao’s plans are to do work that continues her independence and learning so that her future is never as precarious as the day her husband, Rich Evans died. Keep in touch via Facebook. Ao is always full of strength and surprises!

Next Thai Tuesday: Jan 5, 2016

We know it’s a long time to wait for your favorite Thai food from Ao Evans but due to scheduled engagements at DiStasi’s Banquet Center and the fact that Ao’s kids are ALL sick with a very bad flu this week means the next Thai Tuesday will be January 5th, 2016.

No Thai Tuesday This Week!

Congratulations and thank you to Cincinnati Magazine for voting Thai Tuesday as “Best Carryout for a Cause”. We are so proud at how far Ao has come and love the village that has joined her.

One of our key volunteers is out of town due to a family death and so we will not be able to have Thai Tuesday again this week.

If you’re new to Ao Evan’s Thai Tuesday, please be sure to sign up for the menu postings each week. The sign up is on the right side of the website.

The Thai Tuesday holiday schedule is going to be sporadic, so please bear with us while we work through the options. We will let you know when the next date is scheduled and will be back to our normal schedule soon.
